Tuesday Night Zines
February 24, 2026 | 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Join us for an evening of hands-on zine making using found objects, paper, and layered imagery!
During this workshop, participants will explore the history of zines and their cultural and political significance while experimenting with collage and mixed media techniques. Using found objects, paper, and layered imagery, attendees will create a zine of their very own and leave with a deeper appreciation for this accessible and expressive art form.
No experience necessary. All materials provided.
About the Artist
Sea Green is a found-object and collage artist whose practice centers storytelling, reuse, and personal expression through layered materials. They are one of the featured artists in Bated Breath: Neglected Possessions at the Charles Allis Art Museum, where their work explores transformation, memory, and the quiet power of overlooked objects. Their zine practice reflects a commitment to accessible art-making and creative experimentation rooted in everyday materials.
