The Charles Allis Art Museum is one of five arts and cultural museums located along a 1.9-mile lakefront route known as the Milwaukee Museum Mile.

The Mile is located in the historic East Side neighborhood of Milwaukee and is easily walkable and accessed by bicycle. From the bucolic setting of Lake Park to the urban activity of Brady Street and beyond, the Mile provides an experience unlike any other in the city. Along with the Charles Allis, visit our sister institution, the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum, as well as the North Point Lighthouse, Museum of Wisconsin Art at Saint John’s On The Lake, and Jewish Museum Milwaukee.
