Museum Days at the Charles Allis Art Museum
January 22 – February 1, 2026
Warm up this winter with art, culture, and history during Visit Milwaukee’s annual Museum Days. For a limited time, enjoy 20% off admission to the Charles Allis Art Museum and experience one of the city’s most treasured cultural landmarks.
Step inside this historic mansion and explore a remarkable collection of Asian porcelains, European sculpture, fine paintings, and rare books from Charles Allis’ personal library—alongside dynamic contemporary exhibitions.
Now on view:
- Arts@1801 – The Arts@1801 Student Showcase Exhibition celebrates the creativity, growth, and artistic voices of Milwaukee-area high school students from Rufus King International High School, presented at the Charles Allis Art Museum.
- Bated Breath: Neglected Possessions – This exhibition invites visitors into a world where forgotten objects and discarded materials become catalysts for imagination. Through multimedia works by Leah Schlageter, Catherine Martin, and Sea Green, this exhibition explores resilience, reinvention, and the quiet beauty found in things often overlooked.
Museum Hours:
Thursday–Friday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Celebrate Museum Days with a visit that inspires curiosity, creativity, and connection.
