by Hattie Grimm
April 24, 2025 – September 25, 2025
Exhibition Overview:
BIRD BODY features 20 original wooden paintings and sculptures by Charles Allis Artist-in-Residence, Hattie Grimm. This body of work draws inspiration from the migratory wisdom of birds and our own animal bodies—reminding us that our instincts, emotions, and physical sensations carry deep truths. Whether it’s the warmth of joy or the sting of grief, Grimm invites viewers to be receptive to the messages carried in the body.
