Capturing the Sun: Indigenous Art and Technology Summer Art Camp for Kids (DAY 2)

July 18, 2024 | 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Calling young scientists and artists! Learn about the creation of sun catchers and make your own at the Charles Allis and Villa Terrace Art Museums' summer art camp "Capturing the Sun" on July 16 and 18. This two-day camp is designed for kids 8 to 13 and led by an experienced art educator. Your child will learn about the invention of the sun catcher and make their own functional art to take home.

 

Tuesday, July 16 (Villa) + Thursday, July 18 (Allis)

9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

$30 Per Child Online | $40 At the Door

 

Meals are not provided. Please pack your child a lunch and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the weather. Don't forget sunscreen and water bottles!

Camp days alternate locations. Tuesdays are hosted by the Villa Terrace and Thursdays are hosted by the Allis.
