Music in the Mansion: Hip Hop and Poetry Workshop and Performance

Enjoy a night of hip hop and poetry at the Charles Allis Art Museum! Start your night with a poetry workshop where participants will create their own poetry with guidance from Wisconsin poets. Then, we invite you to share your poetry to music before a poetry performance by several lauded poets.
Program:
6 p.m. - Poetry workshop with Wisconsin poets
7 p.m. - Perform your poetry with music
8 p.m. - Poetry performance by local poets

Music in the Mansion is a series of Saturday musical performances hosted by the Charles Allis Art Museum. Featuring local music guests from a range of genres, Music in the Mansion aims to engage the community with the arts while promoting Milwaukee's creative economy.
