Chess and Chocolate Tournament: a Wisconsin Scholastic Chess Federation event

February 11, 2024 | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Join Coach Jackson and Chessbox Academy for the Chess and Chocolate Chess Tournament at the Charles Allis Art Museum. This tournament is an official Wisconsin Scholastic Chess Federation event and is open to K3, K5, K8 and K12 Divisions.

Format: Five round Swiss style, Game 30

Awards: 3 individual, 3 team trophies per division

Entry fee: $15 advace registration by Thurs, Feb. 8th at 11:00 p.m. $20 onside registration. Fee paid at check-in.

 

Event Information:

  • Advance registration at www.wisconsinscholasticchess.org
  • 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. onsite registration
  • 8:00-8:45 a.m. pre-register check-in
  • Round 1 begins at 9:00-9:15 a.m.
  • Those arriving after 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. will begin play in Round 2
  • Checks payable to: Chessbox Corporation
  • Breakfast and lunch concessions available
  • Awards at approximately 4:00 p.m.

Supervision
At least one designated adult supervisor must be always present during the tournament to oversee your school's team or individual participants who are in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

 

WSCF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting chess as an educational tool for students throughout Wisconsin. WSCF reserves the right to change divisions and awards based on number of advance registrations.
