Music in the Mansion: 50 Years of Hip Hop

December 2, 2023 | 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop at the Charles Allis Art Museum on Milwaukee's East Side. Join us on Saturday, Dec. 2 to learn about the history of Hip Hop from its birth in 1972 in the Bronx to Hip Hop in Milwaukee today.

After a brief panel discussion covering the history of Hip Hop (panelists TBA), DJ No Request a.k.a. Kanei Jackson will perform a set celebrating Hip Hop’s history.

Program:

  • Doors Open at 6:45 p.m.
  • Panel Discussion at 7:00 p.m.
  • Open Bar & Snacks 7pm - 9 p.m.
  • DJ No Request 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
