Fanana Banana: A Poetic Look at Being a Female Artist

Join the Allis at the Women's Club of Wisconsin to discuss the status of women in the art sphere and building a future for women by women in art.

Featured recently in Milwaukee Magazine, Fanana Banana will present their creative research on making space for women. Their poetry call, hosted by the Sarah Ball Allis Museum, creates space for women and artists in Milwaukee. Learn about their Collective supporting Muslim and Middle Eastern as well as North African artist in Milwaukee, and their projects surrounding creating voice and space.
